MedLink Georgia places a special emphasis on offering access to diabetes education to the underserved and high-risk populations in our community who are impacted by diabetes and aligns with our vision of “Healthy Individuals, Healthy Families, And Healthy Communities”. Our nationally accredited program provides education, training, and support to patients diagnosed with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, Maturity Onset Diabetes in Youth (MODY), Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults (LADA), Gestational Diabetes, Impaired Glucose (Pre-Diabetes) and Metabolic Syndrome. Our educators will work with the patient, the patient’s family, and the patient’s physician to prevent long-term complications, improve diabetes management and blood glucose levels, and improve the quality of life. To participate in this amazing program, a physician’s referral is needed.
