Dr. Ahmed is the Chief Medical Officer for MedLink Georgia. He received his Doctor of Medicine from Dow Medical College (Karachi, Pakistan) and completed his Residency Program at Saint Francis Hospital in Poughkeepsie, New York. Dr. Ahmed has been serving MedLink’s communities since 2016, initially brought in as a Physician/Medical Director, but through his passion for quality improvement focused on patient care, he was promoted to Chief Medical Officer in 2019. While remaining active as a provider, he continues to foster a culture of quality, challenging all staff to do their part to ensure MedLink reaches its goal of being “#1 in Quality Care”.

lindsey is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Family Medicine provider at our Winder office. She graduated from the University of Alabama and began her career at MedLink in 2018. lindsey sees adult patients aged 18 and older for their primary healthcare needs.

Kathryn McCusker, MD

Kathryn McCusker, MD

Service: Pediatrics

Dr. McCusker is a pediatrician at our Winder office. She attended the Medical College of Georgia where she also completed her residency. She has been employed with MedLink since 2011 and sees patients from birth through college age. Her services include specializing in the care of pediatric and adolescent patients; well care including growth, development, and vaccinations; primary care of infants and children with special needs; behavioral health including but not limited to ADHD, anxiety, and depression; outpatient sick visits; and in-office same day testing for many illnesses.

Alexandria Odum is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at our Colbert and Winder offices. She graduated from Georgetown University and began her career at MedLink in 2024. She provides primary healthcare services to patients 12 and up.

Nicole is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at our Winder office. She attended Augusta University and completed her residency through the Emory University NoGAPP Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. She has been employed with MedLink since 2020 and sees patients ages 12 and older for their primary healthcare needs. She has a passion to create a space for equity in healthcare. She feels blessed to have the opportunity to learn each day, while partnering with patients in their journey to reach their health goals. Nicole believes in practicing yoga and stretching regularly and thinks it is important for all patients, because it creates a space for daily gratitude and helps prevent injuries. She also loves to dance and create organic self-care products

Sandra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Winder office. She has been employed by MedLink since 2019. She has over 35 years of helping patients develop strategies to change behavior or cope with difficult situations and sees patients in person or via telehealth.

Dr. Sharma is a Pediatrician at our Winder office. He attended medical school at the College of Medical Sciences in Nepal and completed his residency at Lincoln Medical Center in New York. He joined the MedLink team in 2015 and sees patients from birth to age 18 for all their health care needs.

Melonie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Winder office. She attended school at the University of Georgia and has been employed with MedLink since 2023. Melonie has special training in providing child and infant mental health services. She is a Registered Play Therapist and is currently trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, an evidence-based intervention for treating trauma in infants ages 0-5 years old and their parents.

Dr. Sipsy is a physician at our Colbert office. He attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at West Virginia University/Charleston Area Medical Center. He has been employed by MedLink since 2018 and sees adult patients ages 18 and older for their primary healthcare needs. He also provides Medication-Assisted Treatment for patients who need help with addiction recovery.

Service: Pediatrics

Dr. Smith is a Pediatrician at our Winder office and has been employed with MedLink since 2009. She attended school at the University of Georgia and Medical College of Georgia and completed her residency at the University of Kentucky. She sees patients from birth through age 20. She enjoys educating new parents, being a proponent of healthy lifestyle, and helping her patients successfully transition to young adulthood.

Jennifer Madore, RD/LDN

Ann Whitaker, RD, LD, CDCES

Service: Diabetes, Nutrition

Ann Whitaker is a licensed and registered Dietitian, holding the additional certification of a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She earned her degree from Georgia State University and has been a valued member of the MedLink team since 2023. Ann provides comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, with a particular focus on diabetes and prediabetes, including gestational diabetes. Her expertise extends to various health areas, including but not limited to overweight management, preparation and follow-up for bariatric surgery, heart health, hypertension, poor weight gain, chronic kidney disease, gastrointestinal issues, prevention, oncology, and more.

Service: Diabetes, Nutrition

Jennifer is a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia Didactic Program in Dietetics and then completed her Master in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida including an ACEND accredited supervised Dietetic Internship program. She began working for MedLink in 2020 and specializes in helping patients of all ages with diabetes and weight management but can assist with any problems related to food or nutrition.

Gisele Youth, DPM, MS, AACFAS

Gisele Youth, DPM, MS, AACFAS 

Service: Podiatry

Dr. Gisele Youth is a podiatrist with a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Rosalind Franklin University’s Scholl School of Podiatric Medicine. She completed her residency at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital/MedStar Washington Hospital Center and joined MedLink in 2023. After residency she proceeded to complete a Fellowship at Emory University Hospital with a focus on Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery where she further specialized in complex deformity correction. Dr. Youth specializes in treating foot and ankle conditions for patients aged 13 and older, including plantar fasciitis, arthritis, tarsal tunnel syndrome, soft tissue injuries, bunions, hammertoes, fractures, sports-related injuries, nail bed injuries, and diabetic lower extremity pathology management. She prioritizes individualized care, exploring non-surgical options first and collaborating closely with patients to ensure the highest quality of care.
