Maria Isabel Alban, MD
Service: Primary Care
Dr. Alban is a Family Medicine physician at our MedLink Gainesville office. Dr. Alban specializes in comprehensive primary health care for people of all ages and has been employed by MedLink since 2006. She attended medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed her residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch Hospital. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, Dr. Alban focuses on preventative care with routine checkups, tests, and personalized coaching on how to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Ernie Aldaco, NP-C
Service: Primary Care
Ernie is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner at our Gainesville office. He attended South University. He is bilingual and has been employed with MedLink since 2021. He has over 19 years of orthopedic experience and sees patients of all ages for their primary healthcare needs.
Monick Crain, FNP-C
Service: Primary Care
Monick is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner at our Gainesville and Jefferson offices. She achieved her Associate’s degree in Nursing at the University of North Georgia, Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Capella University, and her Master’s degree of Science in Nursing from Brenau University. She completed her residency with the NoGAPP Family Nurse Practitioner Residency Program. She began working for MedLink in 2022 and sees patients 2 and up for their primary healthcare needs. She is trilingual and can serve English, Spanish, and Portuguese speakers.
Haroon Mian, MD
Service: Primary Care
Dr. Mian is a family medicine physician at our Gainesville office. He attended the University of Louisville and completed his residency through the University of Louisville Residency Program. He has been employed with MedLink since 2022 and sees patients of all ages for their primary healthcare needs.
Abigail Nevitt, PA-C

Abigail is a board-certified Physician Assistant at our Gainesville office. She attended South University. Abigail has been employed with MedLink since 2017 and sees patients ages 1 and up for all their primary healthcare needs.
Wendy Smith, MSW
Service: Behavioral Health
Wendy Smith, a Master Social Worker based in our Gainesville office, graduated from Walden University. She joined the MedLink team in 2024, and serves patients aged 12 and above. Wendy specializes in a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Crisis Intervention. Her expertise extends to addressing issues related to drug and alcohol dependency, as well as providing support for individuals dealing with depression and anxiety.
Ann Whitaker, RD, LD, CDCES
Service: Diabetes, Nutrition
Ann Whitaker is a licensed and registered Dietitian, holding the additional certification of a Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She earned her degree from Georgia State University and has been a valued member of the MedLink team since 2023. Ann provides comprehensive care to patients across all age groups, with a particular focus on diabetes and prediabetes, including gestational diabetes. Her expertise extends to various health areas, including but not limited to overweight management, preparation and follow-up for bariatric surgery, heart health, hypertension, poor weight gain, chronic kidney disease, gastrointestinal issues, prevention, oncology, and more.
Jennifer Wright, MS, RD, LD, CDCES
Service: Diabetes, Nutrition
Jennifer is a Registered Dietitian licensed to practice in the state of Georgia. She graduated from the University of Georgia Didactic Program in Dietetics and then completed her Master in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida including an ACEND accredited supervised Dietetic Internship program. She began working for MedLink in 2020 and specializes in helping patients of all ages with diabetes and weight management but can assist with any problems related to food or nutrition.
