What is Medical Weight Management?

Medical weight management is a healthcare approach to helping you achieve and maintain a healthier weight. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, our team looks at your overall health, medical history, goals, lifestyle, and individual needs. By considering the whole picture, we can help develop a personalized plan that supports your long-term health and weight loss goals.

At MedLink Georgia, weight loss care may include several types of support. Depending on your individual needs, your care may include medical evaluation, prescription weight loss medications when appropriate, GLP-1 medication options, nutrition counseling, personalized weight loss goals, and progress tracking. Together, these services can provide support throughout your weight loss journey.

We provide weight loss and medical weight management services to patients throughout Northeast Georgia.

Medication is only one part of your weight loss journey.

While medication may be an important part of weight loss care for some patients, it is not the only option. As your needs change, your provider can help adjust your plan to support your continued progress.

Ongoing Support

Finally, ongoing support helps you stay connected to your care team as you work toward your goals. Your provider can monitor your progress and adjust your plan when needed.

Our goal is to help you build a sustainable approach to weight management, not simply provide a medication.
