MedLink Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation, established as the Oconee- Oglethorpe Primary Health Care Center in 1979 under the Rural Health Initiative Program. The corporation is governed by a Board of Directors with representation from each county where the centers are located.
MedLink Georgia serves patients from 26 Northeast Georgia counties and contiguous North and South Carolina communities.

MedLink Georgia is a Health Center Program grantee under 42 U. S. C. 245b, and a deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U. S. C. 233 (g) – (n)
MedLink Georgia receives HHS funding and has federal Public Health Service (PHS) deemed status with respect to certain health or health-related claims, including medical malpractice claims, for itself and its covered individuals.
