Rebecca is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at our Jefferson and Commerce Offices. She attended school at the University of Georgia for both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree. She began working for MedLink in 2022 and sees patients ages 10 and up for counseling and behavioral health therapy. She has had the opportunity to work with individuals within a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) setting, Court / Mandated Treatment, as well as voluntary outpatient behavioral health and substance use concerns. She typically draws on the following modalities: Client-Centered/Rogerian Approach, Trauma-Informed Care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Integrative Treatment approaches of Seeking Safety, Trauma Recovery Empowerment Model (TREM), and Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Substance Use (CBI-SU).
MedLink Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation, established as the Oconee- Oglethorpe Primary Health Care Center in 1979 under the Rural Health Initiative Program. The corporation is governed by a Board of Directors with representation from each county where the centers are located.
MedLink Georgia serves patients from 26 Northeast Georgia counties and contiguous North and South Carolina communities.
