Phlebotomy Certification Course

Phlebotomy Certification Course is offered to current Medical Assistants and LPNs. Students are offered the option to take their certification exam through the National Health Career Association to become Certified Phlebotomy Technicians.

Medical Secretaries Training Course

All Medical Secretaries receive additional training from our Billing/Coding Department yearly to stay up-to-date on new billing/coding/insurance information.

Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program

The Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Program is offered for non-clinical MedLink employees to become Certified Clinical Medical Assistants. Employees who have been employed for at least 6 months can apply to be accepted into the 12 week course. Within the course, students will receive classroom knowledge and on-the-job hands-on training. Upon completion of the course, students are able to sit for their Certified Clinical Medical Exam through the National Health Career Association and are placed at one of our centers as a Certified Medical Assistant.

Yearly Training Courses

Yearly training is provided to all non-clinical and clinical staff to continue to grow within their skillset.

CPR Course

CPR training is provided to all MedLink employees at no cost.

MedLink Georgia, Inc. is a non-profit 501 (C) (3) corporation, established as the Oconee- Oglethorpe Primary Health Care Center in 1979 under the Rural Health Initiative Program. The corporation is governed by a Board of Directors with representation from each county where the centers are located.
