MedLink Georgia is proud to join health centers across the nation in celebrating National Health Center Week from August 5-August 8. This annual event recognizes the vital role community health centers play in providing accessible, affordable healthcare to millions of Americans.

National Health Center Week 2024 highlights the contributions of community health centers in delivering primary care to underserved populations, promoting health equity, and reducing healthcare disparities. This year’s theme, “Powering Communities Through Caring Connections,” underscores the importance of these centers in building healthier, stronger communities.

“We are excited to celebrate National Health Center Week and showcase the critical services that MedLink Georgia provides to our community,” said Dave Ward, CEO of MedLink Georgia. “Our health centers are a lifeline for many families, offering comprehensive care regardless of their ability to pay. This week is an opportunity to raise awareness about our mission and engage with the communities we serve.”

“We invite everyone to join us in celebrating National Health Center Week,” said Dave Ward. “These events are a wonderful way to connect with our community, provide valuable health information, and ensure that everyone has access to the care they need.”

National Health Center Week is a testament to the dedication and hard work of community health centers and their role in fostering healthier futures for all. For more information about National Health Center Week or MedLink Georgia, please visit MedLinkGA.org or follow them on social media.
