Colbert, GA – October 2022 – MedLink Georgia is pleased to announce the appointment of two new board members, Steve Barber and Linda Ramey.

“Our Board of Directors is comprised of a dedicated team of community leaders committed to the vision, mission, and values of MedLink Georgia and serving their communities through the availability of quality, affordable healthcare,” said Dave Ward, CEO of MedLink Georgia. “We are excited to have Steve and Linda’s talent, expertise and enthusiasm into furthering our mission.”

Steve Barber lives in Hart County and is a retired CFO from MedLink.

Steve is passionate about serving on MedLink Georgia’s Board of Directors. “With the recent increases in healthcare costs, there are a growing number of people who cannot afford to purchase quality healthcare, nor are there alternative subsidies available to help them. MedLink has the capacity to help fill that gap for a very deserving segment of our population. I believe MedLink’s Board, management, providers, and staff are committed to ensuring that those quality services are available and affordable for everyone, both now and into the future,” said Barber.

Linda Ramey is a Habersham County resident and part-time Marketing Liaison for Comfort Keepers, In-Home Care.

Linda is also excited to join the Board of Directors saying, “After working in the Habersham and Hall County hospital systems and retiring from MedLink, I understand how important it is for our communities to have a comprehensive resource for healthcare. MedLink provides that by catering to all age groups. They also accept patients who are insured and uninsured. I am impressed with the additions to MedLink’s services lines, like; women’s health, mental health, dental, pharmacy, and podiatry. Together with 20+ family health care centers staffed with medical doctors and Family Nurse Practitioners, MedLink provides a safety net for North Georgia.”
